So, we got a new look – what do you think? I liked the previous look but I wanted to add some things, and be able to add buttons to my side bar as well as add my blogroll – anyone want to join? (I have to thank Miranda from Nette Design for “tweaking” the header for me!)

Now, onto other matters – It’s time for Tackle It Tuesday!

This Tuesday is chocked FULL of things to do!

1. was to get the new template for my blog up and running – smoothly. – Done

2. come up with a creative, cute and FUN – something – to include in my orders as a small little thank you for ordering with All Natural Mommies.

Right now I am using bath fizz and little soaps – I have also done key chains, and lotions, as well as book marks – I really like including something fun, and something the customer might use later and think about us – but so far I am not coming up with anything new that’s fun and creative!

I was brainstorming with Dawn from www.kandiesforyou.com and we thought first about doing a toddler pop, but then not all my customers have toddlers. Then we came up with a fun idea of using a little (plastic) baby doll, and adding fabric around it, in the shape of a “sling” then adding a safety pin. It could be used, and I thought it might make a fun pin to remind moms which side they nursed on last (if there nursing) or just for a keepsake. Well both my mom and sister did not like that idea at all – What do you think?

Then I thought maybe using bookmarks again, doing something with a candle tart, potpourri, or maybe doing something with candy.

- Honesty if you could pick something to be a “gift” for you to help you remember a store you shopped at, what might it be? Way back when I thought I would send something little that I made, like a wipe – however, not everyone cloth diapers so I nixed that idea.

3. I have 2 Podonbutai’s, 1 nursing mei tai and a nursing blanket to make – as well as 6 eye pillows. You can see (via the picture) everything is cut out and pinned (but I gotta get it all sewn together and shipped out!)

4. You all know I started reading the 7th Harry Potter book, well I am ½ though so another tackle is to finish it!

On one hand I REALLY want to finish it, it’s soo good and exciting, a real page-turner. On the other, I feel sad – This is after all the last book. I guess reading the other books I knew there would be more…more ways to adventure with Harry – but after this one, no more books – and so I want to be sure to savor every minute!

Then of course there’s laundry and the “normal” things going on too – Aubrey’s going to be home on Wednesday for a full week of vacation with her family here – before heading off to Germany with her daddy – so I want to try to get everything caught up so that we can have TONS of fun!
