All Natural Mommies

Dear Mommies,

I wanted to introduce myself to you all as I know that you have all been reading Jenn’s posts and website for quite some time, not to mention supporting her online store All Natural Mommies.

My name is Krista Conway and I recently acquired All Natural Mommies with the hopes of continuing to build All Natural Mommies into what we all look for in sites such as this and what I believe Jenn always intended the site to be. My original intentions for the site was to purchase a business that I could build with my recently widowed mother-in-law. My MIL was a housewife for 28 years before losing my father-in-law in an accident in 2008. She has always had a passion for creating beautiful things out of fabric and I am sure that she will be stiching her love into many of the products that come out of All Natural Mommies. In addition, I have acquired the help of a consultant who knows fabric, sews for the largest theatre in Ohio, custom dyes fabric, designs custom fabric (yes, ANM will soon have CUSTOM fabric designs) and will assist ANM in offering organic Mei Tais and other products which are made out of organic fabrics and organic dyes.

My plans to build on the site include posting on the blog several times per week, publishing a newsletter (be sure to go to the site to subscribe if you already haven’t), revamping the website, creating a podcast, introducing additional natural products to the lineup at all natural mommies including cloth diapers, breastfeeding supplies, organic mei tais, custom fabrics and new innovative designs as well as revamping the site itself so the articles are easier to locate and the products are easier to purchase. I have even batted around the idea of installing a forum where we could all get together and talk about our lives, our children and chat about whatever we want to chat about on any particular day. If you want to see a forum appear on the board, comment here and we will take a vote (i don’t have the voting plugin installed yet).

So now onto me. I am a WAHMommy to two great little boys, Ethan 2 1/2 and Ian 8 months. Both of the boys have been cloth diapered and in slings or mei tais. I don’t vax. I take the boys to a chiropractor. They were both breastfed and Ian is still nursing. I have been married to my husband Jarod for a little over 7 years. I own several online businesses and have recently hired an employee to help me with my business ventures. I hold dual B.S. Degrees in Marketing & Communications and Business Administration and a PR minor. I actually took my capstone final while I was in early labor – well, okay, my contractions were 7 minutes apart.

As for All Natural Mommies, I hope to continue to bring you all great info, products and anything else you are looking for as we embark on this journey together. If you want a sneak peak at the new (not yet operational) ANM go to www.All-Natural-Mommies.com/cart – Most everything will be changing…i need to add the products and I have a beautiful friend who will be modeling the Mei Tai I bought for her from Jenn late last year. Her picture will replace the picture of my son Ian (it will be smaller and have some kind of message). Additionally, all of the buttons for the newsletter, blog, etc and all of the articles will be there soon. Once the new site is up I will let you all know here, but I would say it will be a few weeks before it is totally transitioned.
